How we work

Four steps. No magic.

Every engagement follows the same four steps. The audit takes two to four weeks and ends with a written blueprint you own.

If the blueprint calls for a tool, the first usable version ships in four to eight weeks. If it doesn't, you keep the blueprint, save the budget and implement it yourself.

Remote audit session: shared screens and workflow mapping
Methodology

Why this order matters.

Most software projects don't fail in the build. They fail because the wrong problem got solved from day one. By the time anyone notices, six figures are usually gone.

We put the cheapest, fastest piece of work first: the audit. That's where we kill the wrong solutions before you get billed for them.

Everything after that is clean execution on a problem we've already understood together.

  • Process before code. Always.
  • Blueprint before build. Yours to keep, even if you walk away.
  • Fixed price, not timesheets. Scope risk sits with us.
  • Direct contact with the decision-makers. No account-manager layer.
  • Ship in weeks, not quarters. Refine from real usage.
01

Audit

We go deep - remotely.

Two to four weeks, fixed price. Structured video sessions with four to eight stakeholders, shared screens while the work actually happens, short recordings of the daily workflow inside ERP screens, tools and spreadsheets. Shared workflow maps in Miro or FigJam, kept moving asynchronously.

The output is a clear map of the real process (not the official one) and a ranked list of bottlenecks.

This is the engagement most consultancies either skip or fake. We take it seriously - no travel overhead, time-zone aware, with clients across the US and the DACH region.

02

Blueprint

Before anyone writes code.

The audit ends with a written blueprint. It contains the current state mapped clearly, the identified bottlenecks ranked by impact, the recommended fix with reasoning (custom build, integration, off-the-shelf, redesign or hybrid), a feature breakdown if a tool is proposed, an integration map and a realistic fixed-price projection for cost and timeline.

The blueprint is yours, whether you implement with us, with someone else or in-house.

03

Build

Only what the blueprint demands.

First usable version in four to eight weeks. We build only what the blueprint asks for. Short sprints, weekly demos, fast feedback.

Modern tooling lets us ship a working version quickly and refine from real usage instead of guessing requirements upfront.

If the blueprint says no tool is needed, this step doesn't happen and you save the budget.

04

Operate

We don't disappear at launch.

Most custom tools don't die at launch. They die in month three, when nobody owns them anymore.

We offer an optional retainer for ongoing refinement, new features, integrations and operational support. You stay in control of the roadmap, we stay in execution.

We will tell you when not to build.

Software shops make money by building a lot. We make money by being right.

If the real answer is a better handoff, a removed step or a clearer owner, we say so and turn down the build.

We lose revenue in that moment, and we win the next call when a tool is actually needed.
